Celebrating Our Volunteers — All Season Long

This year, we’re introducing a new way to recognise the amazing people who make our Club tick.

Throughout the hockey season, members will be able to submit shout-outs recognising volunteers, helpers, and those quiet achievers who go above and beyond. We also encourage you to nominate individuals who not only contribute through their efforts, but who actively improve and exemplify our Club’s culture and values.

These acknowledgements will be shared regularly across our social media as part of our Volunteer Spotlight, giving us the chance to say thank you in real time — not just at the end of the year.

At season’s end, we’ll bring all of these highlighted contributions together and invite members to vote for our Club Person of the Year, either from the ones highlighted or someone who may have been missed. By then, everyone will have seen the incredible efforts across the whole season, helping ensure the award truly reflects the spirit, values, and service within our Club.

Keep an eye out for the survey link and let’s make sure the people who give so much to our community feel valued every step of the way. And remember, if someone has already been nominated, you are welcome to nominate them again — we want to acknowledge all the ways that people contribute.
